Since the coronavirus outbreak, 14,000 Australians are said to be stuck overseas.

Imagine this is your fourth attempt at booking a flight home to Australia… and so far all of them have been cancelled. This is the reality for Macquarie University law student, HanJoo Park who is finishing up a study abroad in Seoul, Korea. She provides insight on what it’s been like not been able reunite with her family.

On Friday, (10th July, 2020) Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced that the number of flights returning back to Australia from overseas would be reduced from 7,000 to 4,000 per week. This has made it increasingly difficult for some Australians to return home, leaving many in limbo.
