Hannah Kwon is a cross-platform journalist and producer. She majored in Journalism and Non-Fiction Writing at Macquarie University.

Her work has been broadcast on the ABC, SBS, Southern Cross Austereo, 2SM Super Network, SYN, 2RRR, and 2ser radio as acting news director, newsreader, radio journalist and producer. She has created video content for the 7.30 Report’s socials, Parramasala Festival, and Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD). Hannah’s written work has been featured on AdNews, and nextmedia’s K-ZONE magazine.

Hannah was awarded a radio scholarship through 2RRR, and was the only female nominee for Newsreader of the Year at 2ser in 2019. She was also accepted into Macquarie University’s coveted SBS Media Mentorship program.

Storytelling and the pursuit of truth is of the utmost importance to Hannah. Highlighting the diversity and richness of Australia along with its international counterparts is something that she relishes in and wishes to continue to showcase throughout her career.

Hannah now works as an Audio Journalist for SBS News. She previously worked as a newsreader at 2SM SuperNetwork radio, as a producer, journalist and news operations assistant at the ABC for NewsRadio, Radio Sydney, and the NewsChannel. She has helped teach new students at 2ser 107.3FM as acting news director.
